Kat Nouri, the founder of the international lifestyle brand modern twist, struggled
with the waste & health hazards posed by disposable plastic bags and
containers she used to pack her kids lunches. Aside from millions of kg’s of
plastic bags and containers that go in to landed fill each year, she was
concerned about the effects of petroleum-based plastics on her family. The
solution? Design a healthy alternative to plastic bags and containers. After
years of development, she unveiled the first fully functional nonplastic bag :
stasher.
Made of 100% pure platinum silicone, stasher is the world’s first and only self
sealing airtight, nonplastic bag that can safely go from the freezer to the
